Street performer @ Grand Central Station

Usually when i see street performers @ subway stations in NYC.. it's dull and not very entertaining.  The performers are actually more concerned about getting paid than providing entertainment for the public.  Yes it's their way to make a living - but if you are good.. i mean really good, ppl will pay.  If you suck, and you just play an instrument for 2 minutes and go around with a hat for money, forget it!

Anyways, here's a good example from Grand Central Station in Manhattan.

The video quality is bad, but when you were there, he actually had a nice beat.  Notice the "Three Dollas!" at the end.  Not sure if he was joking, but he kept saying it every 10 seconds to ppl watching him or recording.  I saw a few ppl walking over to give him money then turn around cuz he was so rude.

I saw the 'Saw Lady' at the Grand Central Shuttle today - she is amazing, and definitely not rude. If you haven't seen her, this is her: www.sawlady.com/blog

This is actually pretty sick...a beatboxing flutist with a cello accompaniment kickin it in a subway. I'm surprised no one even stopped to watch but I guess that's New York for you.
