Life Sucks.. Does Yours?

What a day.. i could not sleep last night, i kept shivering and could not stop thinking bad thoughts. Life is sucking at the moment - and can't really put my thoughts into words. What is the purpose of living is what i've been pondering.. why? Work.. eat.. work.. sleep.. isn't that the life most of people in the world? What joy comes from all of this shit? What is YOUR joy? What makes you want to continue living? I usually don't do this.. and i think all of my life i have considered suicide maybe three times counting today.

Got My New 42" HDTV

Yay my philips 42" HDTV is here. Woot - already hooked up my HTPC (Home Theater PC) to it and it's amazing. Watching TV is a lot more enjoyable now.

I watched the Naruto movie on it as soon as i got it and it was sick. The only thing is - i think im going blind. My couch is located about 10 feet from the TV and i can't see the smaller text.. :( Even with this big screen. So the only uncomfortable part is having to walk closer to the TV to browse through things.

Building an HTPC (Home Theater PC)

Fixing My Broken Desktop PC

So.. not much has been going on other than settling down here in New York.

I bought a cheap ol video card from Best Buy.. but guess how much it was.. $100! omg.. what POS card for $100!!! So i just wanted to see if anything else on my Desktop was broke.. and behold! it was indeed only the video card that broke. So everything else is ok.. which means the HTPC project is still on.

Behold! Internet!

So my internet came today.. woot.. cable is much faster than dsl for download speeds.. i downloaded bleach in like 8 mins (300kb/sec) woot. I have $88 in Yesasia.com credit and $150 gift certificate from Dell.. what should i buy?? Please leave a comment if you have any ideas.

I made a short video of my apt, since the pictures don't do it justice. It's uploading right now.. so we have to wait a little bit. Bleh.. youtube keeps timing out. I guess i'll try the blogger video upload option. ok.. that's not working either. i'll try tomorrow i guess..

Having No Internet Sucks!

So.. as i write this i have no internet connection. I'm writing this on notepad so that i can copy/paste when i have an actual internet connection. I was being shady and leeching bandwith from not-protected wireless connections around my complex, but they may have caught me and closed all their modems cuz i don't see them on the wireless list. Bleh.. so now i have to wait until like Wednesday when the cable guy comes to install the cable internet.

New Adventure in New York

A new adventure starts. Im in NY for those of you who haven't heard. I got here Thursday and spent the majority of the weekend getting settled in and furnishing the place. I'll post pics once i get them off the camera. actually let me do that while i type this..
