Movie Review: Ninja Assassin (2009)

 

Bi makes his second hollywood movie appearance after the questionable performance in Speed Racer.  He plays the main character of a group of Ninja's that are paid for international assassinations.  He loses someone he loves in his teens and decides for vengeance.

This is a very bloody movie, if you have a weak stomach, i'd advise you stay away.  There are some really nice fight sequences in the movie, and a few new moves never seen before.  However, there have been plenty of better movies that take martial arts into the next level.  

Overall rating: 4/10 (I'd watch it once)

TGIF everyone!  So glad it's the weekend.  This was a stressful week, with work and thoughts about moving back to California.  So, last week was the season finale of Family Outing.  They have already announced the new cast members for Season 2.. and to say the least, i'm not too excited.  Here is the new cast, and other than Yoona from SNSD - i can't see the show continuing to be a success.  I guess time will tell.

Favorite TV Shows

There are shows that you just cannot live without.  Some are funny, some exciting, and some just tell a really good story.  Most of us (if not all of us) watch Television regularly and have our own set of shows we watch on a weekly basis.  I generally download all my shows because i enjoy having control over when and where i watch these shows.  If you don't own a Tivo, EZTV (google it) is a great place to download some of the more popular shows.

Movie Review: Gamer (2009)

This movie received many rotten reviews, but it wasn't as bad as critics made it seem.  The movie is about nano technology in the future and how humans will be able to control other humans.  It's a clash between "Surrogates" with Bruce Willis and "Death Race" with Jason Straham.

The worst part of the movie is copying the idea of two other movies and trying to mesh it together.  Two not very good movies..

Overall i give this movie a 5/10 for trying.  I didn't feel like it was a horrible waste of my time, and kept me entertained for a while.

Insomnia

Can't sleep.. must sleep.. but just can't!  How often do you lie in bed trying to sleep, but can't.  You are tired, and feel like sleeping, but it just never comes.  I haven't been able to sleep well the past couple of days because i feel tense with anxiety.  Been having many thoughts on different paths i must take in the next 2 months and it's annoying me.

I want to move back to California.  I can't stand it here in NY anymore.  It's too damn lonely and gloomy.   The people here are also def. not the same as back home.. different lifestyles means different personalities that i haven't been able to mesh with quite well.

If my job wont' let me transfer back to California, what do i do?  Look for another job?  Quit?  Take a vacation?  If i move back to Cali, where do i live?  What city?  What car to buy?  AAARRRRGGGG..
